Open Circle Meditation offers meditation practices that help us reconnect with our deepest capacities for wisdom, compassion, and inner freedom.
Our practices are rooted primarily in the Buddhist tradition and are also informed by modern psychology and neuroscience. People from all spiritual and secular backgrounds are welcome. The practice does not require adopting any particular belief system. We draw from many streams of wisdom that point toward our shared human capacity for kindness, compassion, presence, resilience, joy, and peace.
Meditation can help us become more grounded, less reactive, more connected, and more able to respond wisely and compassionately to ourselves and others. Our path offers a way to come home to the inner goodness and compassion already within us, and to express those qualities in our lives, relationships, and the wider world.
This is an open and ongoing meditation group, and new participants are welcome to join at any time.
Our first guided meditation each week begins promptly at 1:00 pm. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to allow time to settle in quietly.
